A love letter to mehndi
MehndiPhotos is an independently run online gallery of mehndi (henna) designs. We exist for one reason: to make it easy to find a design you actually want to wear — whether that's a full bridal set, a quick festival motif, or something simple for a weekend.
Every design is organised so you can browse the way you think. Categories cover front hand, back hand, bridal, arabic, leg, engagement, gol tikki, finger and simple designs, alongside festival and occasion collections.
Browsing is free, and you don't need an account. Designs you like are saved on your own device unless you choose to sign in.
How designs get published
- An editor reviews every design before it goes live.
- We review each image for visual quality, clear pattern presentation, anatomical consistency and usefulness as mehndi inspiration.
- Each design is categorised by style, placement and occasion so it can be found.
- Duplicates and low-quality images are rejected.
Where the images come from
MehndiPhotos currently publishes AI-assisted mehndi design imagery that is reviewed before publication. We do not claim these images are photographs of real henna work, and we do not publish artwork submitted by third-party artists. Full details are in our image copyright policy, and rights holders can ask us to remove or correct an image through the copyright removal request page.
How our content is made
Some designs are AI-assisted, and some titles, alt text, descriptions and tags are drafted with AI help. Nothing is published without a person reading and approving it. We say so plainly in our AI content disclosure, and the wider process is set out in our editorial policy.
Independence and corrections
MehndiPhotos may show advertising to keep the gallery free. Advertisers have no say in what we publish or how we describe it. If something here is wrong — a mislabelled design, a bad description, a missing credit — tell us and we'll fix it on the page itself.
